School Uniform 

Our school uniform includes: 

  • Beancross Primary School sweatshirt,  purple sweatshirt/cardigan 
  • Beancross polo shirt, white blouse/shirt 
  • Beancross Primary School tie
  • Black/grey trousers/skirt
  • Black shoes 

Footwear/shoes should be suitable for wearing outdoors. In wet weather/snow conditions, children may wear boots/ wellingtons and change into indoor shoes when in class. 

In summer/ hot weather, children are welcome to wear school shorts/ school dresses. 

Please Note: white/coloured trainers, jogging trousers and black sweatshirts are not part of our school uniform.

PE Kit 

Children are required to change into their PE kit. Each class will receive 2 hours of Physical Education per week. 

Indoor kit: 

  • Plain T-shirt 
  • Shorts or jogging trousers or leggings 
  • Clean indoor trainers or plymsoles 

Outdoor Kit:

  • Sweatshirt or hoddie
  • Jogging bottoms
  • Outdoor shoes/trainers
  • Lightweight jacket, hat/gloves (if required)

Please note, crop tops/sports bras and football strips/ football branded clothing is not permitted as P.E kit.

Outdoor Learning

We promote and encourage outdoor learning. Outdoor learning will take place in almost all weather and as such the children will require suitable clothing for this.

 

Outdoor Learning will take place frequently within the school grounds and within the local area. Permission will be sought for Local Outdoor Excursions at the beginning of the school year. 

 

Class Teachers will inform you if your child requires a change of clothing for outdoor excursions. 

 

Outdoor Clothing (Wet/Cold Weather):

  • Warm or waterproof jacket/ trousers
  • Hat, gloves, scarf 
  • Waterproof boots/ Wellingtons

Outdoor Clothing/equipment (warm weather):

  • Sunhat
  • Suncream
